He was born in Ordu on July 13, 1988. He completed his primary education at Ordu Altınfındık Elementary School and high school at Ordu Science High School. In the same year, he was accepted to Marmara University Faculty of Medicine.
He graduated in 2012 and served as a general practitioner at Ordu Kumru District Hospital. In 2013, he was accepted into the orthopedic department of Haseki Training and Research Hospital, where he primarily worked on spine surgery, prosthetic surgery, sports surgery, and trauma surgery.
After completing his specialization, he worked at Düzce Atatürk District Hospital for 2 years. From 2020 to 2023, he served at Bahçeşehir Liv Hospital for 3 years. As of July 2023, he has worked at the Avcılar branch of Medicana Health Group, and as of October 2023, he continues his professional career at Medicana International Istanbul Hospital. He is a member of TOTBID, TOTEK, and TUSYAD. He is also a congress member of Beşiktaş J.K. He is married and has 1 child.

I came urgently to Dr. Görkem after a motorcycle accident. He not only informed me throughout the entire process but also successfully completed my operation. I went for a clavicle fracture, and he showed me 3 or 4 different methods in great detail, then performed my surgery using the best method. If it were another doctor, they might have used a plate, but Dr. Osman Görkem chose a much healthier and different approach to resolve it.
